This is the new play by Clàudia Cedó, the mastermind behind Escenaris Especials for the past seventeen years: a comedy with fantastical touches that aims to reflect on exclusion, dependence, overprotection and family life with a child with a disability.
Santa Aurora de la Pietat was a normal town, full of normal people doing normal things... until Clara and Josep had their son, a radically different child: Ramon.
A trip to a small town so closed that the most intimate monsters emerge in it, crossed by love, tenderness, black humor and evil. And a question: do we know how to manage the arrival of the other, of the different, from which we leave what we call normality?
The team of Mare de sucre (Escenaris Especials) surprises us with this new comedy with fantastic touches by Clàudia Cedó, which reflects on rejection, otherness and the possibility of loving someone who is otherwise. Fantàstic Ramon is the first show produced to the Ànima Lliure project with which the Lliure, in partnership with the Fundació Banc Sabadell, wants to impregnate the knowledge and perspective of artists with functional diversity into the theatrical system so that it becomes commonplace to include these individuals in the creation, production, and exhibition of shows.
Escenaris Especials is in charge of the adapted production of the show.
