After eight years, the director Àlex Rigola is coming back to the big stage with Bulgakov and an adaptation of one of the best Russian-language novels of the twentieth century. It is a cult, romantic and dissident play featuring a combination of satire, tragedy, mysticism and social critique.

Moscow, 1930s. The devil and his entourage keep stirring up the city wreaking havoc. The young Margarita loves the Master, a writer punished by the regime, while nineteen centuries ago, the apostle Matthew, Pontius Pilate and Caiaphas debate the existence and death of Jesus Christ.
